We Need YOU at Lobby Days in DC July 21-22nd!

This will be an inspiring and celebratory time of connection with other like-minded peace advocates where you will have the opportunity to learn, share experiences, and inform your federal representatives on two of the most important peacebuilding bills since our country was founded, namely The Youth Promise Act and the creation of cabinet-level Department of Peacebuilding.

Become a Sponsoring Member of The Peace Alliance

By becoming a Sponsoring Member of The Peace Alliance, you are upping your commitment to building a world where peace, and the policies and work of peacebuilding are national and global priorities. From current crises in Irag, Syria and many other global hotspots, to the serious struggles of violence faced in our own communities here at home, we must focus more heavily on solutions that will pivot us towards approaches that actually bring healing and restoration. We need your help to do it.

2014 Global Peace Index Released

last week the Institute of Economics and Peace (IEP) released the 2014 edition of its annual Global Peace Index (GPI), which “ranks nations according to their level of peace.” The world has become less peaceful every year since 2008, highlighting the importance of better understanding conflict and violence risk and greater investment in peacebuilding.

Summer of PROMISE!

Friends, this Summer is a very important one for the Youth PROMISE Act. Momentum has been building in Congress. We are asking you to commit to calling all three of your federally-elected Congressmembers, and to commit to enrolling at least three others to do the same.
