Season for Nonviolence Action

FEBRUARY 2015 CONGRESSIONAL DEPT OF PEACEBUILDING CALLS

During the Season for Nonviolence, please call as many as possible of these 2013-2014 Congressional cosponsors of U.S. DEPARTMENT OF PEACEBUILDING legislation, all of whom were re-elected and are serving in the 114th session of Congress (2015-2016).

Relay this short message to the receptionist or to the legislative assistant:  “Congratulations on the Representative’s re-election.  I am calling in commemoration of the Season for Nonviolence (1/30/15 –  4/3/15) to urge the Representative to sign on as a cosponsor of the U.S. Department of Peacebuilding legislation (DoP/ HR1111).  Please thank the Representative for cosponsoring this legislation during the 113th session of Congress (2013-2014).  Please contact Diala ([email protected] or 5-2261) at Congresswoman Lee’s office to sign on again as a cosponsor.  If the Representative has already signed on as a co-sponsor, please convey our appreciation. Thank you.”
