We are pleased to announce that we have beautiful 2014 “Peace on Earth is in Our Hands” holiday cards available for pre-order today. These have been very popular in past years. We hope that you will consider sending our cards to friends and family this year as a way to spread both holiday cheer and a message of peace on earth – plus a little about the work we are doing nationally in support of peace.
Join us in urging President Obama, UN Ambassador Samantha Power and the UN General Assembly to support a resolution for Establishment of Infrastructures to Support the Culture of Peace.
We are very excited to share that Marianne Williamson, a Peace Alliance founder, will be our special guest speaker for this month’s National Peace Action call.
There are many modalities emerging in communities across our nation that are very effectively dealing with youth crime, violence, bullying, delinquency and other related issues that focus on prevention and more healing-oriented intervention practices. Below are a few key highlighted programs that show these are not only more effective than traditional punitive approaches, but they also save lives and money for communities.
