National Monthly Peace Action Call – Audio Posted – Dealing with Global Conflict through Peacebuilding

We are pleased to be joined by Dr. S. Ayse Kadayifci-Orellana, Interim Associate Director and Visiting Assistant Professor in the field of Peace and Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University’s MA program in Conflict Resolution. We will talk about the growing threat and challenges posed by groups like ISIS/ISIL as well as many other global hot-spots — looking specifically at what a more multidimensional and holistic peacebuilding approach can contribute.

18 new Youth PROMISE Act Co-sponsors in Congress!

Over the last few months, the Youth PROMISE Act has made some encouraging progress, as well as a few hold-ups. Thanks to many of you, this “Summer of PROMISE” saw 18 new co-sponsors sign on in the House and Senate — including some key Republicans who will be very important to its passage.
