New Film: Making a Killing: Guns, Greed, & the NRA
We thought it important to share with you that Brave New Films is releasing a new feature film Making a Killing: Guns, Greed, and the NRA on March 15th, that tells the stories of five families and communities effected by gun violence. It looks to be a powerful film and there are several ways below you can see it and get involved.
Making a Killing: Guns, Greed, and the NRA tells the stories of how guns – and the billions made off of them – affect the lives of everyday Americans.
It features personal stories from people across the country who have been affected by gun violence, including survivors and victims’ families. The film exposes how powerful gun companies and the NRA are resisting responsible legislation – and thereby putting people in danger. The film looks into gun tragedies that include unintentional shootings, domestic violence, suicides, mass shootings and trafficking – and what we can do to put an end to this profit-driven crisis.
The film is entirely FREE.

- House Parties: BNF has a full-time organizer on hand to help individuals and organizations run house party screenings with an average of 10-20 people.
- Group Screenings: BNF can support organizations, schools, and places of worship in putting on screenings.
- Premiere Screenings: BNF will be having large screenings with Q&As and panels in theaters in these cities throughout the country that you can help organize, table at, and invite members to: Chicago, New York, DC, Miami, Denver, LA.
