The Peace in Every Step Walkathon continues its momentum with a special event featuring Gaetano Kazuo Maida, executive director of Buddhist Film Foundation and producer of the International Buddhist Film Festival. He has directed and/or produced many films, including Peace Is Every Step, a classic profile of Thich Nhat Hanh. Gaetano Kazuo Maida is executive director of Buddhist Film Foundation, producer of the International Buddhist Film Festival. He was one of the founding directors of Tricycle, and has directed and/or been a producer of a number of films including Peace Is Every Step, Robert Bly: A Thousand Years of Joy, Rock Soup, and Milarepa. He has served on the boards of Point Foundation, Parallax Foundation, North Atlantic Books, and Tea Arts Institute. Originally New Yorkers, he and his wife have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over thirty years.
