#Peace2thePolls
Democracy Vigil
Tuesday, November 8th
Democracy is an institution that belongs to ALL of us. Unfortunately, between partisanship and the differences in voting access from state to state, we all begin to feel disconnected from the process AND each other and we want to change that.
We kept a zoom room open for fourteen hours on election day 2022. We invited folks to come be with us in community, at any time that worked for them, to share your voting experience, talk about what is important to you around voting and our democracy, participate in empathy circles or self-care if you need it, and watch the returns together as the polls come to a close.
The Peace Alliance wants to be your democracy community. These elections belong to all of us, and we want to celebrate YOU for participating in the midterm elections.
